Why me, why now, why a blog…

Hello friends! For the past eight months or so, God has been asking me to write and share certain things and I have been dragging my feet. I have procrastinated for long enough that the task is now overwhelming. I am starting a blog so I can tackle this project in the bite sized chunks that God intended me to. I plan to write a little each day until I have caught up. I can only assume that it would have been much easier if I had been obedient from the start.

That covers the questions why now and why a blog. As for why me only God knows the answer to that. But if He has the grace to still be willing to use me after months of disobedience, I think it’s time for me to stop asking this question and simply obey.

If you find the notion that that God speaks to us unbelievable, please read John 8:27, John 10:27, and Jeremiah 33:3. There are many other scriptures that talk of God speaking to His children, but these are a good starting point.

If you find the Bible unbelievable, along with the existence of God, then you will most likely find this blog ridiculous. 1 Corinthians 1:18 states, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” I ask that you pray and ask God to reveal Himself to you, even if you don’t yet believe, because the hour is soon coming when every eye shall see Him and every knee will bow down before Him.
